Do I need a new antenna to get digital TV?

Antennas made for analogue TV signals work just as well for both digital and high definition signals.

The issue isn’t about digital versus analogue, it’s more about channel frequency. If your analogue signal was at a certain frequency range, such as in the VHF band, and digital one that replaces it is in the UHF band, then you may need to replace your antenna.

Call the antenna specialists on 0428 442 828 to have us come out and have a look at your antennas, if you’re unsure or having problems with your frequency.

Is a TV aerial the same thing as a TV antenna?

Yes, a TV aerial is the same as a TV antenna, in Australia it is more common to call them TV antennas rather than TV aerials.

Are your outdoor TV antennas resistant to weather?

High quality TV antennas are designed to be exposed to the elements. We only select Australian made antennas, that are durable and resistant to everyday weather and UV rays from the sun.

The picture is breaking up on my TV what could be the problem ?

Digital antenna systems can break down due to interference, faulty antenna boosters, faulty antennas, loose antenna connections, coaxial cable faults and co-transmitter interference. I can test your antenna system with my digital antenna analyser and advise the best way in which to move forward.

What's the difference between coverage and reception?

Coverage is a predicted level of digital TV signal strength, while reception is the quality of the signal that your TV actually receives. For example, if your TV is not connected to an antenna, it may not be able to receive the TV signal, even if you are in a good coverage area.
